Plant Based Minutes

One minute a day, for as long as you want it

Plant Based Minutes publishes one 60-second video every day — a quick recipe, a nutrition fact, or one small reason to eat more plants. Every video goes to our YouTube channel, and the longer write-up lives here.

Why a minute

Most people who want to eat more plants do not fail because they lack information. They fail because every plan they find asks for a week of prep, a new shopping list and a personality change on a Sunday.

A minute is small enough to actually do. One video, one move, and you are done for the day. Do that often enough and it stops being a project and starts being how you cook.

What we publish

Six themes on rotation: a quick two-or-three-ingredient recipe, a nutrition fact, a health reason, an environmental reason, an animal reason, and — because a diet that takes itself too seriously does not last — a joke.

Behind the videos sit 41 written guides: the recipe in full, the numbers, the shopping list, and the answer to the protein question when someone asks it at dinner.

How it is made

The daily minute is produced with an assisted pipeline — scripting, voiceover and assembly are automated so that one video a day is sustainable — and every single one is reviewed by a person before it is published. Nothing goes to the channel unwatched.

Videos carry an AI-assistance disclosure in their description, because that is the honest thing to do and because YouTube asks for it.

The two hosts

Every guide and every minute is published under one of two bylines. They are the show's two hosts, and each one keeps to what they are good at.

    Recipes and nutrition

Maya takes the guides where a number matters — protein, iron, B12, calcium, fibre — and the recipes built around them. If a claim needs a source, it is hers.

    Quick cooking and meal prep

Luca handles the weeknight end: the ten-minute dinner, the batch cook that survives until Thursday, the shop that stays under budget.
